The sole therapy for treating cataracts is cataract surgery. Using a phacoemulsification machine, we may remove the cataract from a little incision formed during the operation, which is similar to a daycare procedure and only requires a 2 mm incision. The same little incision is then used to insert an intraocular lens. Less than 10 minutes are required to complete the process. There is no need for an injection because drops are used to anaesthetize the eye during this procedure. Additionally, there is no eye patch used following the treatment, and the patient can return to regular activities the same evening.
Once every 6-12 months. If you’re diabetic, every 6 months is mandatory.
Iris Eye Care is known for micro-incision phaco surgery with premium lenses.
