The objective of conference is to engage ophthalmologists in a multitude of scientific activities, such as instruction courses, lectures, symposia, post-graduate refresher courses, booth lectures, wet labs, and surgical skill transfer courses. AIOC help eye experts to uplift their level of knowledge and facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices in the field.
AIOS also recognizes the contributions of its members by providing incentives in the form of awards, orations, prizes, and fellowships. These accolades serve as a testament to the dedication and excellence displayed by ophthalmologists in their respective specialties.
AIOS operates through multiple branches, including academic and research committee, scientific committee and Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. They help to ensure the smooth functioning of society by circulating or conducting effective dissemination of knowledge and information.
